Dear Abby,

I am a crack dealer in Mt. Washington, KY who has recently been diagnosed as a carrier of HIV virus.

My parents live in Morehead and one of my sisters, who lives in West Liberty, is married to a transvestite.

My father and mother have recently been arrested for growing and selling marijuana.
They are financially dependent on my other two sisters, who are prostitutes in Covington.

I have two brothers, one is currently serving a non-parole life sentence at Eddyville for the murder of a teenage boy in 1994. My other brother is currently in jail awaiting charges of sexual misconduct with his three children.

I have recently become engaged to marry a former prostitute who lives in Campton. She is a part time "working girl".

All things considered,my problem is this. I love my fiancée and look forward to bringing her into the family. I certainly want to be totally !  open and honest with her.

If you haven't heard already, WWE and Stone cold have decided to part ways for the time being. But New Japan Pro Wrestling announced today their intentions to sign Stone Cold Steve Austin to wrestle for the company.

Steve Austin previously wrestled for New Japan whilst under a WCW contract in the early nineties.

It was an injury suffered in a new Japan match, that lead to Eric Bischoff infamously firing Austin over the phone in 1995.
Stone Cold's WCW firing could be considered as being the first step towards his rise to becoming biggest name in the industry of all time.

This is for older people. Younger people try it at their own risk.
For those of us getting along in years, here is a little secret for building your arm and shoulder muscles. You might want to adopt this regimen. Three days a week works well.
Begin by standing straight, with a 5-LB. potato sack in each hand.
Extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can -- try to reach a full minute.
Relax.
After a few weeks, move up to 10-LB. Potato sacks, and then 50-LB. Potato sacks, and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-LB. potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight out for more than a full minute.
After you feel confident at that level, start putting a couple of potatoes in each of the sacks, but be careful not to overdo it !!
Thanks Becky

A study shows lack of exercise can be harmful to a person's physical and psychological well being. Researchers looked at the exercise habits of older adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, a lung disorder that kills some 120,000 Americans each year. Participants completed a 10-week exercise rehab program, then were given a home exercise program to follow on their own. The researchers found participants improved in cognitive, psychological and physical function after the initial 10-week program but those who stopped exercising at the end of the 10 weeks lost gains made in nearly every mental and physical characteristic measured.

A deadly 2002 riot at the Laughlin River Run netted murder charges Monday against nine men linked to the Hells Angels and Mongols outlaw biker gangs.

According to the indictment, the nine defendants participated in the riot between the two biker gangs at Harrah's Laughlin. Two members of the Hells Angels were fatally shot and one Mongol was fatally stabbed.

Video surveillance shows the bikers wielding firearms, knives and clubs against one another in a chaotic scene that killed Robert Emmet Tumelty, 50, of Stockton, Calif.; Jeramie Dean Bell, 27, of Hughson, Calif.; and Anthony Salvador Barrera, 43, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

The Hells Angels members charged Monday are Schaefer, 34, of Chandler, Ariz.; Rodney Cox of Phoenix; Maurice "Pete" Eunice, 53, of of Lakeside, Calif.; Raymond Foakes, 40, of Petaluma, Calif.; James Hannigan of Mountain View, Calif.; Dale Leedom, 42, of Two Rivers, Alaska; and Sohn Regas, 37, of Reno.

The two Mongols who are charged are Southern California residents Alexander Alcantar, age unavailable, and Roger Pinney, 59. Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney Christopher Owens identified Alcantar as the triggerman behind the deaths of two of the victims.

And just as we are all recovering from Harley-Davidson's 100th anniversary, Oconomowoc's local dealership is planning what looks to be a fun-filled celebration of its 10th anniversary in business this summer.
Wisconsin Harley-Davidson and Buell, 1225 Robruck Drive, will be hosting a weekend-long outdoor party July 2 and 3 featuring live bands, food, displays and demonstrations.

A spokesperson for Wisconsin Harley-Davidson, Kim Topel, said the event is a thank you to Oconomowoc for the support it has given the business over the last decade, and is already generating excitement.

"We feel very fortunate to be out here," she said. "The community has embraced us and we wanted to give a little back to our customers and the people of Oconomowoc."

Philadelphia was second only to London as the largest English-speaking city in the world at the time of the War of Independence.

Dear Sir:
I am a senior citizen. During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying job. I took numerous vacations and had several vacations homes.
Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for the worse.
     I lost my job.
I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War.
     I lost my home.
     I lost my health insurance.
As a matter of fact, I lost virtually everything and became homeless.
Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me.
I will do anything to insure President Bush's defeat in the next election.
I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year.
  Bush has to go.
I just thought you and your listeners would like to know how one senior citizen views the Bush Administration.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
Sincerely, Sadaam Hussein
Thanks Jake

Word of the Day

woolgathering \WOOL-gath-uh-ring ("th" as in "the")\ noun

: indulgence in idle daydreaming
Example sentence:
"Ruth, stop your woolgathering," said the teacher, snapping her fingers and pulling the child away from her daydream.
Did you know?
"Woolgathering" once literally referred to the act of gathering loose tufts of wool that had gotten caught on bushes and fences as sheep passed by. As you might imagine, woolgathering was an unprofitable enterprise; its practitioners must have seemed to wander aimlessly, gaining little for their efforts. In the mid-16th century, "woolgathering" began to appear in figurative phrases such as "my wits (or my mind) went a-woolgathering" — in other words, "my mind went wandering aimlessly." From there, it wasn't long before the word "woolgathering" came to suggest foolish or purposeless mind-wandering.
