CAVENDISH, P.E.I. - A couple in Prince Edward Island wants to open the province's first campground for nudists, arguing that they have fat wallets – even though they may lack a place to carry them.

Last year, Gary and Linda Lowther opened P.E.I.'s only nudist motel, the Oasis Resort, in Cavendish.

The business has been so lucrative, drawing tourists from around the world, that they have applied to have their property rezoned so they can set up 20 campsites.

As Firefox marks its 5 millionth download and moves to retail stores, a survey showed Microsoft's heavyweight Internet Explorer slipping below 90 percent market share.

OneStat.com, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based provider of Web traffic measurement services, said that according to numbers gleaned from 2 million Web surfers around the world, the Mozilla Foundation's new Firefox releases appear to be cutting into Microsoft's still commanding lead in the browser market.

"It seems that people are switching from Microsoft's Internet Explorer to Mozilla's new Firefox browser," Niels Brinkman, OneStat.com co-founder, said in a statement.

OneStat's statistics, based on the Web surfers' activity in 100 countries, showed that IE's market share slipped to
88.9 percent in the third week of November, down 5 percentage points from its share in May.

Mozilla-based browsers, including Firefox, rose to 7.4 percent, up 5 percentage points from May.

TORONTO -- The Cold War really is dead. The former Soviet Union is now home to two rival motorcycle gangs with the Outlaws and Hells Angels each establishing prospective chapters. The Outlaws motorcycle club this week opened a prospect chapter in Russia, the final step before becoming a full-fledged chapter.

The announcement came just days after the Moscow Motorcycle Club was granted the same status by the Hells Angels.

Web sites for the rival clubs were peppered with congratulatory messages for the new chapters. It will take a year for both chapters to become full-fledged chapters.

SAN DIEGO, California - A mother used her car trunk as a babysitter to keep her 7-year-old son from going anywhere while she partied at a bar with her boyfriend. Sarah Powell,
27, has pleaded guilty to child abuse and false imprisonment.
Powell was arrested on August 23 at a bar after a witness alerted police that the boy was in the trunk of Powell's Volvo. Her son was found in the trunk with a pillow and a sleeping bag. Since she couldn't find a babysitter, apparently Powell thought this was the best way to keep her son safe. Powell's boyfriend, Jake Faria, was arrested a few days later.

Word of the Day

hydromancy \HY-druh-man-see\ noun
: divination by the appearance or motion of liquids (as water)

Example sentence:
The store has a large section of books about hydromancy and other forms of fortune-telling.
Did you know?
If you've ever encountered a sorceress or a wizard peering into a "scrying bowl" as part of a movie or a book, you've witnessed a (fictionalized) version of "hydromancy." The word has been used since at least the 14th century to describe the use of water in divination — examples include predicting the future by the motion of the tides or contacting spirits using still water. "Hydromancy" is believed to derive ultimately from the Greek words for "water" ("hydōr") and "divination" ("manteia"); it came to English via the Latin "hydromantia." The ancient Greeks who relied on hydromancy also gave us the names for related forms of divination, such as "necromancy" (using the dead), "pyromancy" (with fire), and even "rhabdomancy," a fancy and now rare word for "divination with wands or rods."
