WrestleMania 21,
Along with the already confirmed title main-events of Triple H vs. Batista and John Cena vs. John Bradshaw Layfield, the rest of the card is looking like this. Obviously, WWE is heading towards Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle and Undertaker vs. Randy Orton, other possible matches include Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio (with the possibility of both working as a babyface), and Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs. Muhammad Hassan & Daivari.

SAN FRANCISCO--Intel on Thursday will unveil a way to open the data paths between chips, a move that could help overcome a huge hurdle in increasing processor performance, CNET News.com has learned.

Called through-silicon vias, or TSV, the technique involves stacking chips vertically in a package and then creating connections between the bottom of the top chip and the top of the bottom chip. These wires will greatly expand the means to exchange data between chips, sources said.

Microsoft co-founder and Chairman Bill Gates will be awarded an honorary knighthood by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II on Wednesday for his outstanding contribution to enterprise.

Gates, the world's wealthiest man, will receive the award from the queen at Buckingham Palace.

He will become a Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, an honor that dates back to
1917, though monarchs have been creating knights for hundreds of years.

Among the pomp and grandeur of the formal state rooms at the palace, Gates will kneel in front of the sovereign, who will gently tap him on the shoulder with a sword.

Britons and citizens of the commonwealth are entitled to add the title "Sir" in front of their names, but that honor does not extend to other nationalities.

LI biker boss' case is dropped State court judge says a prosecutor's mistakes with a grand jury lead him to throw out felony case BY CHAU LAM STAFF WRITER March 1, 2005 A Nassau judge has dismissed assault, robbery and other charges against the leader of the Long Island Hells Angels motorcycle club and six other members, saying a prosecutor made a series of errors that were detrimental to the defendants' rights.

When Nassau Assistant District Attorney Kevin Higgins presented the case to a grand jury, he made mistakes such as giving the panel wrong or confusing legal instructions as well as allowing hearsay testimony, acting State Supreme Court Justice William C. Donnino said in his written decision. Two members of the motorcycle group were sentenced on unrelated weapons charges last week.

"There were, to be sure, evidentiary errors which in the context of a grand jury proceeding may not by themselves require a dismissal. But some of those errors are troubling and, when coupled with the charging errors, reinforce the finding of an impaired proceeding and prejudice," Donnino said in his 35-page decision.

This marks the second time a judge has thrown out the grand jury indictment against the men. A different judge tossed out the first indictment against the men because the prosecutor in that case, Assistant District Attorney Walt Junker, failed to follow a judge's order, said John Lewis Jr., an attorney for one of Hells Angels. Charged in the multi-count indictment were the group's president, Robert J. Maganza, and its vice president, Joseph S. Cali, both of Lynbrook; the group's treasurer, Thomas F. Link of Baldwin; and Raymond G. Dwyer of Oceanside, who prosecutors said is the group's secretary. Also indicted were Raymond Lloyd of Central Islip and Mario Biganini of Lake Ronkonkoma. Lewis and Richard Barbuto of Garden City, attorney for Lloyd, said Nassau District Attorney Denis Dillon's office has decided not to pursue the charges against the Hells Angels.

Dillon's spokeswoman, Katie Grilli-Robles, declined to comment yesterday, saying the case is closed.

On Feb. 6, 2002, Anthony Barone, who was booted from the Hells Angels motorcycle club a day earlier, called police and complained that the other members beat him and robbed him at the group's clubhouse in Hempstead, where some of them lived, according to court records. Lewis and Barbuto said the allegations against the Hells Angels were untrue.

Police began surveillance at the clubhouse. About three months later, law enforcement officials searched the clubhouse and members' homes and seized weapons, including an Uzi firearm, shotguns, a rifle, brass knuckles and knives and five motorcycles, as well as gang paraphernalia and $130,000 in cash.

Kevin Kearon of Garden City, Mangaza's attorney, said his client is pleased with the outcome of the matter but is still angry that Nassau police shot and killed his dog while searching his home.

Feb 27, 2005 (The Herald - Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News via COMTEX) -- Robbie Cox is from a motorcycle family, so it's not really surprising he decided to buy York County's only Harley-Davidson dealership.

Cox plans to move the dealership to the Dave Lyle Boulevard exit off Interstate 77 and create a destination spot where the whole family can "feel the entire Harley-Davidson experience." He hopes the 40,000- to 50,000-square-foot dealership he plans to build on about 10 acres in the area of the Wingate Inn will be open in late fall.

"We like the community and the retail that has developed in that area," said Cox, 30. "The visibility off the interstate is probably the number one plus."

The third-generation motorcycle dealership owner bought the former Country's Harley-Davidson at 1093 Albright Road in late December and changed the name to Cox's Harley-Davidson of Rock Hill.

The first Cox's Harley-Davidson dealership is in Asheboro, N.C.; it was started 44 years ago by his grandfather. Cox's parents now own the dealership, which has been ranked by Harley-Davidson as one of the top 25 dealerships out of more than 600 in the United States for the last four years. In 2003, the dealership was ranked No. 1 in the country for customer satisfaction.

America Online on Wednesday said it plans to launch its redesigned Web-based e-mail service for subscribers later this week.

As first reported by CNET News.com, AOL last December began testing the redesign of "AOL Mail on the Web."
The Time Warner subsidiary said it would first offer the service only to its members but then launch a separate free Web mail service to nonmembers later in 2005.

AOL Mail on the Web's new look will resemble the layout of Microsoft's Outlook, with messages organized in a column of folders on one side and message texts in the main body of the client. The service will launch with
100MB of storage, mirroring similar moves by competitors Yahoo, Microsoft's Hotmail and Google's Gmail.

Word of the Day

misanthrope \MISS-un-throhp\ noun

: a person who hates or distrusts humankind
Example sentence:
Moliere's 1666 satiric comedy Le Misanthrope portrays the life of Alceste, a misanthrope who is completely intolerant of society and everyone in it.

Did you know?
The word "misanthrope" is human to the core. Literally. One of its parents is the Greek noun "anthropos," meaning "human being." Its other parent is the Greek verb "misein," meaning "to hate." "Misein" also gave English "misogamy" ("a hatred of marriage"), "misogyny" ("hatred of women"), "misology" ("a hatred of argument, reasoning, or enlightenment"), and "misoneism" ("a hatred, fear, or intolerance of innovation or change").
"Anthropos" joined forces with "phil-" (a combining form meaning "loving") to form the Greek ancestor of "philanthropy" ("active effort to help other people"). We also dig up "anthropos" when we excavate the foundations of the word "anthropology."
