"Winds of Change" M*A*S*H
B*A*S*H Mr. Clark, I have reviewed this case very carefully," the divorce court judge said, "and I've decided to give your wife $775 a week." The correct response to the Irish greeting,
"Top of the morning to you," is "and the rest of
the day to yourself." Clothes and transportation purchased by some high schoolers attending proms come close to the fanciness of a wedding. The New York Post reports some attending posh private schools in New York City are spending about $3,000 for the Big Night. The hot item this year is the 2004 34-foot Hummer 2 sport-utility vehicle/limousine -- that seats 18 and is complete with a PlayStation 2 and a flat-screen TV. It can cost $2,400 for a night. "The kids want to be like Britney, Jay-Z or Beyonce for the night," says Frank DeLuca, owner of Excalibur Extravaganza limousine in New York City, who's booked his super-sized Hummer for 21 proms this season. |
IRELAND: Across northern Ireland now, bikers can use the bus lane for travel. What a great idea! Bikers here in the states have had access to High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) "diamond lanes" for years to help ease congestion and give motorcyclists a safer place to ride. Myers (Joint Chiefs Chairman Air Force
Gen.) also addressed the idea that up-armored humvees do not provide enough protection to U.S. service members. According to Army sources, the reinforced vehicles include 200-pound steel-plated doors, steel plating under the cab and several layers of bonded, ballistic-resistant glass. The up-armored humvees provide protection from assault rifles, artillery airbursts and have front and rear anti-mine protection. Wichita, KS - Big Dog Motorcycles is celebrating their tenth year of operating this summer at the company's headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. The celebration, aptly named "Ten Years, One Party," will be held June 11-12 and is designed to appeal to the nation's Big Dog Motorcycle riders, motorcycling enthusiasts, or anyone interested in the high performance, custom cruiser industry. FRONTENAC, Kansas - Rumbling motors could be heard on Sunday as hundreds of motorcycles herded into downtown Frontenac for the annual Blessing of the Bikes. Rev. Robert McElwee, who led the gang and wore riding boots beneath his vestments, offered prayer during the blessing. He sprinkled holy water as he weaved through over 1,5000 brightly painted motorcycles from as far away as Utah and Idaho. McElwee, an avid motor- cyclist, has seen the event grow from a small gathering after Sunday mass to a huge affair. "These machines are part of your unfolding creation," McElwee prayed before distributing 25 gallons of holy water. Newcomers Marcketta and Larry Gates had never been to such an event as Sunday's blessing. "I've never had our bike blessed. We thought we should," Marcketta Gates said. AMSTERDAM — A group of naturists who plan to cycle naked through a Dutch city in June will do so without a permit from the city officials, it was announced Tuesday.
